Bassettwood Farm CL site  is located in a very quiet area on the edge of Tissington village, with picturesque views of the surrounding Derbyshire Dales and Peak District. We can offer you the perfect base for a short break or longer holiday with access to the Tissington Trail, Tissington Hall a short stroll from the farm and the historic town of Ashbourne is just 6 minutes drive away.

We have grass pitches on our main field, or we have two hard standings available in a separate area next to the farmhouse. A full English breakfast is available in our Farmhouse breakfast room by prior arrangement. Friends without a caravan are welcome to stay in the B&B. 

Nearby, within under an hour’s drive you will find Haddon Hall, Ilam Hall, Chatsworth House, Sudbury Hall, Hardwick Hall and Kedleston Hall and the lovely, traditional market town of Bakewell, famed for its Bakewell Tart.

If you love cycling there are miles and miles of traffic free and family cycle routes, notably the Tissington Trail which can be found 2 minutes from the farm. Bicycles can be hired from Ashbourne Cycle Hire in the centre of the town.
